| We put one of the 3-speed with hi/low Foote transaxles in my cousins Jake, and it seems to be holding up just fine with the 20" Ags on there. They're probably not quite as bad as they're made out to be. | Yeah my Spicer runs just fine with a 6" front pulley and a 5" rear pulley, ungoverned with 22" mud lites. I think they get a bad rap. | |

| Hey also, went to my junkyard today. Found two pressure lube 21 horse Briggs intek vtwin engines. One was on a really nice craftsman. Gen2 steering and mst206. Would make an awesome build...other one was on an mtd
Anyway, 80 bucks for the one in the craftsman, 75 for the one in the mtd. Whatcha guys think? Really want that vtwin sound, even though I’m pretty happy with my single overall

| I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Around here they'd go for £300-400. I love the Vtwin sound too and the extra horsepower would be useful as well. | |

| $80-$75 seems pretty good to me. Y'know, as long as they're not locked up or anything. Hahaha. | I would take a look at the list of things you want to do to your tractor and see how it fits in the budget. Seems like a good buy and oppys sure sound nice. | |

| Aren't Briggs flat head and Briggs ohv flywheel the same? The one on the Briggs 14.5 hp ohv had the plastic start8ng ring stripped so I pulled one off of my little flat head 12 hp and it is the same circumference and width , and as far as I could tell no differences what so ever, it has a huge spark when cranked and it jumped through the rubber boot before I put a plug back in , but it's back firing badly out the intake. I might just need to adjust the valves or check for a valve seat that's blocked or a valve that's just rusty. | |

| Make sure the keyway is the same as the other one relative to the magnet. If the magnet and keyway aren’t in the same spots on both flywheels that would be your problem. Just take the ring gear off the flywheels and switch those. Swapping flywheels sucks | |

| Well the 3rd round was just to keep it from busting bigger. Those are pretty loose now due to all the swelling in done. We pack it daily with healing balm and let it go the course. Now it is just a matter of watching so he doesn't lick the goop out. | |

| Yeah they do, modern coils with no points thank god.
Got another offer to get a mower. It's a Murray 17.5 hp (so I think it has an oppy) 42 inch deck. Hopefully it's a gt or it has an mst in it.
