2 things would need to happen.  A trailer and a vehicle to tow it that far.    The old truck is good hopping around town, but go to far and reliability starts to fall off.

What kinda truck is it?  I love all trucks, 70s, 80s,90s, and the ones from this century.

1995 ford f150 single cab stick with inline 6 .

1978 C30 Trailer Edition Silverado here.

Good ol' 4.9 Ford inline, those are great engines. Those 90's F-150s are great looking trucks too.

The front always looks really low tho, takes about 800 lbs of weight in the back to level it out.

Here's what I had:



It's a '91 F-250 HD.  It basically had 1 ton springs in the rear and a full floating rear axle with those extra deep hub caps.  I bought it thinking that the inline 6 was a great motor, but after the truck warned up it ran like total garbage.  I had a shop do a compression test on the motor and cylinder 2 or 3 had really bad compression.  I think a valve was bent or something.

Obviously I don't have a truck, but our ranch truck is a Ford F-350 Turbo Diesel Lariat.

Here's a picture of it a little muddy.  Love this thing!!! Sounds so cool on the highway, at 5,600 RPM has 450 horsepower.

Dad had an 04 f350 with the 6.0 too...till he wrapped it around a tree. Darn thing just broke 200k too

Now Dad has a 2000 f250 with a chipped 7.3...good truck, only 180k on it

When I need a truck I use dads 7.3 or my grandmas 1997 s10. It has the 4.3 which is a monster in that light little truck. And it’s a baby at 39k

That's the same thing that we have, but ours it 2 years newer.  And not wrapped around the tree....

Yeah that thing was a monster. But the steering box was starting to go bad so it liked to wander. The 7.3 Drives much better, and rides nicer too since it’s a 3/4 ton and is 2wd

Didn't your 350 have a turbo?  I was wondering what kind of difference the 350 and the 250 had.

....they all have turbos bud. The 350 just has stiffer suspension. That’s the only difference. The 250 has a different engine, it was before the 6.0 that you have

Then how come my neighbor has 2 F250s and they say "Powerstroke Diesel 7.3" and our 350 says "Powerstroke Turbo-Diesel 6.0"?

Because theirs is older than yours. The 7.3 was from 1994-2003, the 6.0 came out in ‘03 and ran till ‘07

...one is from '02, the other one is from '16....

On another note, I saw a photo of this nerf tank thing, and it killed me.

look at the FREAKING BRUSH GUARD!!!! It totally looks like a truck brush guard. LOL!!!

The ‘16 is a 6.7

They came out in 2011 after the 6.4

They went 6.7 idi, 7.3 idi, 7.3 powerstroke, 6.0 powerstroke, 6.4 powerstroke, and 6.7 powerstroke

so the '16 has a turbo?

I thought the 94-current had them. Honestly, I do not follow Fords that much.

Mighty is correct, all the powerstrokes have them. Those started in ‘94. The 7.3 idi was also optional with the turbo *i think*

Then how come ours says turbo diesel on the side and theirs doesn't? And how come ours has a turbo PSI gauge on the dash, and theirs doesn't?  And how come when you rev it or accelerate on the highway in ours it makes a screaming turbo noise and theirs doesn't?
