I might end up putting some 22 inch knobbies on the rear if the itps have to much traction.

LOL you may have to.  the itp may be too grippy and not as fun, unless you like looking at the sky and not the ground.

Second month update.

Not too much is new with it . I need to pull it out and work on it but the garage is packed with too many projects.

I am considering making this into more of a street crusier. It woyld look cool with slicks and a rat rod trike look, plus i don't need another mudder and i like drifting . Or mabye a a mmix of street and mudding applications

This idea seems a little out there.  I thought your swingarm setup was great to have in an off roading machine.

Yes, I amam just saying more offroad and less mud.

Sounds like a good plan to me! Especially since I’m a trike guy.

Watching some videos of atcs on YouTube has made me really want to get this thing up and running. But at this point the build is on HOLD. Need to get material for a front end and need to reinstall the rear axle and all of that hardware. The engine has also been a donor for the gt 3000 and is missing parts like the shrouds and carb. Might put a single cylinder on in for weight reduction and less hp to tip it up in the air and save this oppy for something else. Just a though tho, not made up on it yet. A smaller engine would also be easier to put a seat on then aswell.

Well, it's been almost a month since I even posted about this thing, so I think it time to pull this build out of the shed and get to work!!!! Put the robbed coil overs back on and proceeded to drop it off the side of the lawn mower trailer from being to heavy in the rear. So today's plans are to remove the oppy and downgrade to a 12hp flathead Briggs , which will cut the rear end weight by half and make it safer. Build is off of hold finally!

Woot Woot! Coming back with a vengeance! Can't wait to see the updates!

Yeah, she might be a bit better off with the flathead. And there's definitely more room for stuff there

It needed all the space possible, not much body room to work with

got the 12hp running, governor is shot so its staying ungoverned I guess, I need to get about 30 ft of 1 by 1 tube to work on all my projects but mostly on this as it is getting a completely home built front end. going to leave it rat rod looking and just clear coat it.

Sounds like a good plan.  What do you want to build for the front end?

just a basic front end like a mini bike basically, no suspension and a completely built from scratch front end frame that ties into the main frame I already have.
