| Wow that's pretty cool! Yeah all the info is right to spec. So if I run it lower rpms I will have a good low speed and if I try 5th gear with pedal crunched down it could in theory got around 35 mph. Yikes! Got the chain and sprockets lined up and the trans chain is perfect for no slack but not too tight and if I put a half link in the drive chain it will also fit like a metal glove. I now have about 90 or so dollars in this build. (Chain, sprokets, metal, welding rod, cutting disks.) | |

| Hey @Crazy_Carl , since you have such a nice speed calculator could you run some more info through it ? Same transmission ratios(2:1 for 5th gear) , 8 tooth trans sprocket, 36 tooth live axle sprocket (no jackshaft ) 45 inch circumference on the tire , and 5500 engine rpms, 7 inch engine pulley, 5.75 inch trans pulley .? Might get some more work done today but probably not, but I am going to ask a neighbor about pulling some idler sprockets and coil overs from some junk he has out back.

| I think the tire circumference was wrong. 45 inches, instead of 69, I am thinking of this ratio on a different build, I am keeping the snapper at what it is now.
That wasn't as fast as I was hoping to go. More around 65mph....... I will look into other pulleys I guess. Or I could swap the 5.75 inch pulley with the 3.5 inch pulley on the snapper and slow down the snapper and speed up the new project racer.

I think a name change from "Death Trap" to "Death Wish"! This looks like it will have a high CoG, that will be sketchy enough at 30mph going around a turn. Try it at 30, if that doesnt fulfill your hearts wants and desires then bump it it.

| Nope beal, those ratios or for a future project. Not this build lol Got some stuff done even tho I didn't plan on doing anything on it today. AND it's going to be a trike!!!!! My friend said he will sell me the 26x10x10 v tread with knobby side tread with a aluminum rim in it for 10 bucks. It's going to look totally RAD!!!! Could stay bare metal and get a clear coat ........ Or I might surprise you !!!! | |

You think me up a way to do single wheel suspension. , and I will build it. Go ahead and just post the diagrams in this thread lol. I want from end suspension to dampen the wheelies. It's wayy cheaper to do one wheel then two as I can get the one for 10$ verses buying some junk tires for 40 bucks a pop.

| You could build a Springer Front End like a custom chopper. I started building one for my chopper pedal bike forever ago but haven't touched it in a while. | You know how in a fanboat you sit right it front on that big v8? This kinda has that look to it. You're sitting right in front of that big oppy lol.
You can do a little swing arm on the front like an old Harley. The axle is in between the pivot point and the shock mounts.

| Here's a Springer. You can see the rockers, push, rods, and springs. | Ah. That's pretty easy to build I would think. I will give it a try once I pick up the tire and go pull off some more coil over from some golf carts. Got permission to look over some old combines for sprockets and chain idlers. | |
