| No, just a little rework, but nothing I need to cut and redo at this time.
No it has been a day of agitation. No progress made:
While trying to figure out a good spot for the third link mount to the frame I realized I was struggling and need to review my breakdown pictures.
Got on my computer and realized I lost all my breakdown pictures when my computer and backup drive cratered when they got zapped with static electricity.
Due to lack of breakdown pix, I decided to try a partial reassembly of the tractor and steering hardware. I quickly realized the lack of room underneath the tractor.
I also noticed I had no room for steering where I have my outer links attached to the frame.
I also cannot remember how the brake runs through all the stuff under the frame. I think it goes through the back foot board rest. It's hanging up. That massive brake works really well.
I also think I dropped every nut bolt and tool on the garage floor. Overall a very frustrating day.
On a positive note, I did figure out how to redo the outer links and use the existing mounts to assist with the inner link.
Also, I have about half an inch between the foot board and the tire. YIKES! I think when all is said and done I may have about 3/4 of an inch.
Plan at this point is to run a 5/8 rod through the current mount point for outer links for the center link, while at the same time beefing up those mounts and lower new outer link mounts. Then run a center brace for that 5/8 rod so it does not bend.

| Yeah we still have power at this time. Much of the power in my area is underground in the residential area where most of the trees are. The main lines, they keep them cleared back pretty good.
It came with the belt twist, I personally have had no issues with belt twists. Honestly I don't want to drop a couple hundred in a RAGB. And if I did, I would have to remove the fender brake as it runs across the opening in the frame for the belt.

| I have done absolutely nothing lately. Been too many other projects to do. That and ice storm stuff. I have some chainsawing to do. Lost about 5 tree limbs. Not bad considering we had about 0.4 inches of ice. I need to also go get some parts to continue the build. Another project I had to do was, during the ice storm the garage door was frozen shut and broke the opener. Got the new one installed today. It is super nice and super quiet. It even has a battery backup on it. | |

| I did get some parts today.. Looks like I need a few more. Did I mention things are a bit tight under the frame? Lots of factory braces everywhere. I may need to re-engineer some of those. We will see. | |

| had about the same amount of ice over two storms last week, and now all of our roads are muddy and tore up from traffic . Sadly i dont have a running mower right now but i plan to get the craftsman running again after i fix the rear belt keeper that bent and keeps throwing the belt off and it needs a new idler on the clutch. Did cut some fire wood and found out i needed to clean the carb as it was bogging down way to easy , after some carb tlc it runs quite well again. NEW garage door openers are great aren't they?

| So, I could not sleep last night. I was having 3 link nightmares. I did a lot of thinking today with half the day off from work. I think I will cut back off a couple brackets on my front axle and try plan B. I got out some of my square tube and did some measuring and more thinking. Hush Allis... you know what I am thinking. | |
