| So I just got a free LT2000 and swapped pully on the trans, currently trying to find a right size belt... tried 4 so far, but that is not my topic. Anyway, I was wondering, where is the drain and fill plugs on this transaxle? I see in the service manual i downloaded from sears.com that it takes 80-90 gear oil in it but cannot find any holes to drain and fill? I want to get fresh oil in there before I start romping on it.
The transaxle is a Tecumseh 6292-P1 6 speed.

| It's not a problem at all! Posts are good too! The chat gets cleared at times, the posts do not when someone else with the same issue may have the same question.
For Forum sake, the answer was the rubber plug by the shifter and do not fill the trans up full. Just under half is what I have learned. Good enought to lube the gears.

| From my experience, they only put about a cup in the MST from the factory. I've only changed the one though, so mine could've leaked some out. I will update later today with my findings on the other MST in the Murray we are building. I would say no more than a quart should be put in | |
