| Anyone running a 2306A? are they any good? Currently what is in my LGT 120, hoping I can get away with speeding it up inside of the transaxle and not with a pulley, but not sure what exactly I need to do. any input would be helpful. | |

| The 2300 is highly sought after as they just about the strongest transaxle out there. They dont like to be sped up too much however and are pretty complicated internally meaning nobody makes performance gear sets so you would need custom machined parts. Also use a tapered input shaft so any pulley swaps would need to reuse the old pulley hub. So I'm way better of selling this and buying a peerless 700 or 820 or something.... Any idea what your average 2300 would be all gears work. and as far as I know it hasn't been messed with. | |

| A 2300's specialty is high torque and use with ground engaging equipment like plows. I have a 1200 which is basically a lighter duty 2300. Considering they have a cast iron case you'll be saving a good amount weight with a different tranny. | |

Any Idea what a good 2300 is worth? I don't know much about the price of transaxles but based off of Craigslist in my area, $200 seems reasonable for something that heavy duty. Again I don't know what they were new so that just my opinion. | |
