Peerless 822

I picked up a mower that was in the transition of becoming a race one. Shabby work on it but i can work with it.

As the title says peerless 822, i didnt find any info on it here.
It appears to be a 5 speed version. Is this good for racing ?

The class i will be in is modified which basically is suspension work and pulleys, no motor work.

Should be they are pretty beefy with the one inch axles and all. I'd race on it.

Never heard of an 822. Should be 820-0xx.
