| I just got a 1979 Ford f250 Ranger "High Boy" (don't know for sure if it is a High Boy). The truck has a regular cab that had a long box but now has a diamond flat bed. It is a 4x4 and is in good shape. The engine is rebuilt with a new 4 barrel carburetor. It came with a cab full of parts, too! I picked this up at an auction for $1500. It was a plow truck, but the trans was rebuilt so it is ok. Overall, it is a good, well-built truck. My plan is to give it a 3in body lift and gets some bigger tires for it. Thanks, upnorthkid

| On a old truck like that id put the lift in the suspension, i never suggest body lifts, look bad and only good for bigger tires, suspenison lift gives you more advantages. probably mess with more old rusty things with a body lift than a suspension lift | |

| Hockey pucks aren't built to take the pressure or load of that much weight shifting around, especially off road. You're better off finding universal lift pucks and cutting them to what you need.
