This is my first competition so bear with me here. I recently aquired a massey ferguson 1655 with an 18 horse oppy thats FUBAR so its gonna go and be replaced with an 18 horse bs oppy. Im gonna also swap out the tranny for a 6 speed spicer locked dif maybe extend the rear axle and put 4/6 lug hubs on it with bigger tires and maybe duals. I also plan on twin stacks and a new seat. Im not gonna touch the steering since its already heavy duty with a steering box may keep the front tires how they are since they are already big enough on 3 lug rims sorry i didnt post this sooner i lost my camera and phone

Good luck and happy building! I have a request though- On subsequent posts, please resize your images to 800x600 or thereabouts. Right now, members with slow internet are absolutely BASHING their heads off their keyboards...
Ive been planning a little more and i may try to do power steering or a rack and pinion to help with the steering if i do power steering the steering box and stuff would come from a c60 bus but its all still in the works. Ive also decided to do a custom front bumper and rear rack. All in all im gonna keep it under 250 $ and ill put up a picture of what its gonna look like if my crappy drawing skills will allow me

Today was pretty productive. Ive removed the old engine mount and drive shaft. Got the transmission oil out and attemped to remove the tranny... Didnt happen... The bolts are froze in place so ill probably try the impact wrench tommorow. And ill put some pics up for yall. I removed the hydrolic lift for the deck and i dont belive i can use it for power steering. So im just gonna leave it alone. I cant get the transaxle apart (the spicer) and i dont know what bit i need for it so i was wondering if yall knew what it took. And ive been robbed aparently ive got missing tools and scrap metal. So im going to orielys tommorow to pick up cutting wheels a c ring remover star bits and a few wrenches

i got out of the hospital early so im glad to announce that i can continue with the build as planned i was released on sunday and today i picked up the engine for the manic massey. its a 20-22 horse v twin punsun diesel got it for 100 bucks and a few old junk gas motors its a frickin power house and best of all it rolls more coal than a freight train on steroids im gonna have to re wire it since the key start is built in to the side and im gonna remove the built in gas tank so i can use the gas tank from the massey. im also gonna do a different exhaust since the one on it is practically straight and its ridiculously loud. ill put up some pictures of what ive got done, new front knobbies, motor, seat, rear shackle, ect ect and i have decided to leave the rear unlocked for now
