| Hey guys, I could buy this '67 bolens for $100, possibly cheaper. I believe it has a 10 hp Wisconsin in it. I really love the looks of this thing, and I really like how HEAVY DUTY this thing looks, However it has no spark, I feel like it needs new points, and a new condenser. I think parts are just about impossible to get for this engine, so what do you guys think?? Worth it? | |

That is exactly what I was thinking. A motor swap would be work great, but where would I get a 10 horse horizontal shaft engine? I think $300 is a little steep for this one ( http://burlington.craigslist.org/grd/4499963011.html ) I'd get it then put this on it and stick it on there, TWIN POWER!!! | |

| yeah i would definitely buy it for that price and put a different engine in it. Get a used engine which is cheaper or buy a parts tractor with the engine you want on it. thats what i would do. You might be able to get another cheap tractor and just use the engine out of it. | |

| For that price, I'd be all over it. Can't go wrong there. If you can't get parts, just source another engine. Still a good deal. | |

| You can find parts for bolens. But your have to go on a adventure. Ik that you still can because I had to buy a hole new fly wheel and other parts for mine. After you get her all straighten out I think you should make a romper or a puller. I made a completion mud bigger our of mine (74 g-14 with a 3 speed shaft trans and with a 14hp ohv)

| I was thinking I could just get a HF clone, because it would cost about $300 with a 20% off coupon. I don't want another oppy because they are insane gas pigs, and I cant really afford that. A V-twin would work, but I can't find one cheap. I really want this thing, because of the limited slip rear. Too bad the guy wont email me back.. | |
