Checked the oil it's good checked fuel it's good she puffs a little white smoke when spinning but won't crank. I tried all throttle positions starting fluid compression etc etc wtf am I doing wrong?

| I checked compression with the pull start I can pull it through the compression cycle but it's a batch without the decompression lever flipped so compression is good and she chooches the white smoke when she is spinning as stated above so she is getting fuel also bled the lines so there's no air | |

| There's also no glow plug that I could find though I am wondering if I should plumb in a return line from the injector and put in a pump to pressurize the system | |

| yea if it doesnt fire off on starting fluid id verify the correct compression and check injector spray, just take it out and hook it up and see how it sprays. might be pump too. might have to pop test injectors if it comes down to it | |

| If you're getting white smoke, you're getting close. Step one: Is the fuel fresh? Might want to consider re-bleeding. You may have not quite completed the process, or didn't quite get all the air. EDIT- I have the service manual for these engines in PDF. maybe I can hook you up. EDIT II- You got that dang big hinking Onan oil-burner going yet??? What's taking ya so long? | |

Please add it in the engines directory of the tech manuals, or post it here and I'll include it silly question, but have you spun it for a while with the compression lever off (low compression) then flipped it to high compression after a while? sometimes these beasties Like to build up a little friction growth before they fire up. Check how much crankcase pressure is there while spinning by looking at the crankcase breather hose while it spins.

| I have spun it then kicked the lever off to see if I could get it to pop while doing the starter fluid thing but it just stopped the starter the fuel is maybe... a month or so old so not sure if that would do it I could throw some 911 in it though might not hurt
