| Today I stripped the mower deck mechanism, The engine and I've started sanding the body down for painting. Do you guys think I should paint the underneath of body or just leave the old paint on | |

| ok so I have finished sanding and I have primed the top of the body using paint from a rattle can. I need to get some automotive paint. I think I will paint it khaki and use a "proper" spray gun. I will put lawn edging around the edges like doc sprocket did with mule.

| Thanks I've got a question for you guys do you think I should seperate the clutch and the brake and make them into two seperate pedals or just leave as is. Because when you press the clutch the brake engages i don't want to stall by taking off in 5th when I do a pulley swap. | |

| If yours is similar to my Scotts 1742, they made it so when pushing the clutch, the brake slightly engages first, then the clutch. I'm going to make mine so that the clutch disengages first, and when the clutch is pushed all the way down, the brake will stop the machine. | |

| Yeah when I press the pedal the brake engages first and Then the clutch engages I think It will be pretty simple to separate In Just need to cut a hole in the body Make a pedal and cut the Shaft that connects the brake to the clutch and the bolt or Weld the pedal to the Cut Shaft. I will post Some pics Soon

| Finally an Update I have finished rebuilding the engine, that includes new oil, spark plug, oil filter, gaskets, and removed all the carbon. I've bought some new tires, currently it has two different types of turfs that are cracking and have been punctured a few times. Finished painting. Now I just need to lock the tranny and then I can start putting it all back together. | |
