| Update time. Mocked this up so i can get a feel for spacing and what else i need. i think im going to get a smaller gas tank. cramming all the junk. More clear picture of sprocket. Gunna make a good chain guard... #nofenderswag Now onto the hood (yesterday and todays project) Looked a little to "wheelhorse" like i just slapped a hood on it, looks kinda tacky concerting it ISNT a wheelhorse. So i modded the grill after a idea of some hot rods popped in my head. Creepycrawler, close your eyes. Cutting carefully.... Weldy weldy, tacky tacky! Majority of it done Filed down every single weld to make it perfect! Headlight and decorative piece removed, paint stripped and primed white to prevent rusting. | |

| Blurg. Well got a few things done but still waiting for one part so i can start on major progress. Plug welded the 3 lug holes from the original rim and primed it. New front tires and tubes came, $45 later. Opened the 700 to make sure nothing was wrong. It looks almost brand new. Shift keys bearly have a dent in them Reverse chain was very sloppy. Removing it anyways. | |

It's 1/4" rod, so just put the end in a vice and bend it be hand or adjustable pipe pliers (the ones with blue grips usually) seemed to work the best. If it had to much bend, then lay the arch on the vice and tap it with a hammer. Takes usually 2-3 times to get the angle and length right on the ends of the arch.

I thought you maybe used a jig or fixture, or bent the rod around a section of pipe or something... LOL

Nope, bend, check, bend, check, grind, tap, weld. Some pieces were longer or shorter order than that.

I dont remember, ill check later. Anyways i got some parts, tires mounted too. 4 of these 14mm heims, my spindles are metric. Tires and tubes mounted on blacked rims. And dog. Rims are .5" inches wider then tires, but worked out just fine.

| Looking good so far. You don't think you'll use that gas tank? Sort of looks like a racing go kart tank between your legs like that. Grill turned out really neat. What do you think you'll do about foot pegs/whatever? | |

Nothing to special for floor boards, but it will all be custom. Still debating tank but i think ill get a push mower tank if i find one within reason.
