How Do You Classify A Mini Tractor?

So-sence summer its been a kinda hot topic; Mini mowers/tractors. Most people (including myself) like them, why? Becuse there well-small. Almost goofy small. The frame on my mini mower is 13 1/2" at the chassis main rails, and 38" long. when i got mine home i sat on it and thought how dumb it would be to acually mow your lawn with it! Its smaller than a shopping cart!

So What QUALLIFYS as a mini tractor? A certain length? I think most were make from the same company, they all shared the same frame type.

So what do you guys think?

I'd think the tires. Most of there tire sizes are just *****.

I had a mustang one, cranked it up to 15mph, with a push mower engine. Single speed FNR, but swapped it for a 5 speed transaxle. Scrapped it years ago...

One's I have seen are similar, two c channels for frame, vertical 5hp engine, one speed tranny, single blade deck.

The commonalities that seem to present themselves to me are:
*Small (5hp or less?) pull start engine
*Single blade deck
*Vintage models usually have solid, non air-filled tires
*I have seen several online with pan chassis' that fit all the above criteria
