I could use it on my 820 but that would be a little to weak for my tastes.

| Update!! i think i might of killed 2 birds with one stone boys.... Front brakes off a small atv, (duro maybe? No plastics on it just a sticker i saw on the handlebars) still lots of meat left on the pads! they work great and bearings are wicked smooth... 3/4" spindle I got new front tires for the MTD, and those tires that i have on it now are the same tires im looking for, so i think i can use the 16" tall snapper tires as my rear tires on this speed mower, and the split rims (shown below) for my front tires! This just shows that i can re drill 4 holes in the rim but i have to be very spot on center... I will be getting the spindles off the ATV, i didnt have a ball joint separator on hand. I have to figure out how to mount the spindles. (not hard just need bushings for the pivot bolts) If this works, ill have much better brakes for this, so i dont have to mount any on the back, and i dont have to buy kart spindles. Brake stands..... muhuhahaha!

Yup, talked to some go kart guys on diygk, and they gave me some idea on how to make a template.... I think i will mount the original spindle from the ATV with a hem joint and a bolt that goes thru the joint and spindle.

| Well heres the rims with the atv drums bolted up. Really a pain in the ass to drill perfect lug holes. i make a template and everything but i guess the drill bit walks or my template wasnt 100%, so every hole seemed like it was 1/16 or less off.. had trouble getting it all center, and it still isnt super perfect. maybe a 1/32" it moves.... ill give it a try at speed and see if it really is that bad. Ill be filling in the original 3 holes. But i gave it my best and came out OK | |

Looks good, maybe you just need a 101 on drilling large holes Center punch, start with a small drill bit and so on. - looks ok tho.

Yes hand drill 3/16th first then slam it with the final cut. with a mix of slow - creeper gear almost. When we drill holes before bench drills we used a rag in the hole to make it round, if not it tend to get oval'ish.

| I use a step drill in the thin stuff like that. Makes round holes and doesn't walk. I also always center punch and center drill first. But sometimes it still comes out non-perfect unless I use a milling machine. Meh, whatever works right! | |
