Looks good! Now that I am having shop class we have a plasma cutter on a bench with an electrical/ hydraulic arm that is attached to our teacher's computer. Not sure what the actual term is for this is. LOL. I think it runs off a program like CAD, oh BTW We have CAD too! YAY!

Not to get off subject but would you want a support bearing off the 700 output shaft? Never been around hardcore racing mowers like yours TD.

Not bearing no, just a support to fit snuggly around the input shaft. The output is pretty strong.

Got the strange Peerless gear shalter watercut, And Bellcrank all in Alloy 6082, nice and lightweight but very strong.

I think im gonna mount the gearshifter like in the picture, it will be less in the way that way... It is a drift shifter originally for a BMW.

Yeah lol, I have bolts for it, but not "mower" bolts, mowerbolts have a slot in them so they cut the thread as you screw em in. But those i got have not. So guess it'l work if i do it slow.

Yup if I had a 5/16th tap, they aren't very common around here. Or do you mean just any tap and bolt? Yes but I want it stock

Also cut and grinded the Alloy bellcrank to fit, Tho the clevises are the biggest issue cause they are just that, big!

I also cut a piece off that and grinded this, so now im going to weld the black thingy in the picture to the Peerless 700 bolt down mount to act as a chain tensioner mount. - Then just run a normal spring for it.

Your fancy brackets make the peerless transmission casting look kind of primitive. Nice deal. You serious about an oil cooler? You know you could take the transmission fluid heat "exchanger" out of a car radiator tank if you want a neat looking cooler. Some of them are brass so you could polish it up and some have inlet/outlets for regular rubber line.

I think that is a plug over one of the oil passages.

better grease it just to be sure.. lol. probably a hole that had to be drilled to make an oil passage, then they plugged it like that
