| i am wanting to lift my murray by putting 1-2" block between the tranny and the frame. But my question is would that make the belt come off due to the pulley being lowered? i dont want to mess with lowering the rest of the pulleys but i want extra ground clearance because the creek i ride in usually gets deep in a few places. Lifting the front will be easy though. any suggestions? | |

do you still have the deck drive pully?if so go on and lift it to where the tranny pulley and deck drive pulley are level, but then you have to fab a clutch.... lol

| no, the original engine was bad. i swapped in a 2009 briggs intek but it has a very short crankshaft with both pulleys mounted to the shaft rather than having the deck drive pulley that hangs down farther. i might be able to make a longer transmission input shaft. | |

do that then, i am pretty sure i told how i did mine in a video on my you tube, (there is a link in my youtube), all you need is a shaft coupler, a piece of round stock, and a pillow block
