| I've decided to start doing some more mods to my mud tractor, so here's my dumb question.
I want to instal a gas pedal on my tractor, but how do you hook it up so I can still use my choke lever? is it possible to have both working? and where is the best place to get a nice looking gas pedal? would I use a go kart pedal?
sorry if this is a noob question
thanks | |

| Sure you can use a go kart pedal! I very nearly did, then had an idea I liked more. I left the factory throttle/choke control in the dash to control the choke only. Take a tour through the forum. I detailed in in the engines section if I recall. Im on my phone right now, a bit harder to dig up the link. My apologies. | |

| My mtds all have seprerate choke and throtles. Ive herd its easy to put mtd chokes on other types of tractors and they cost around $10. | |

| Ive seen people use bike handle bar levers for a choke lever. i wouldnt suggest them to you as a gas petal but they will work. | |

| Stretch and I have the choke and gas separated on our machines... The gas pedals on ours were fabricated out of random scrap metal we had lying around. You can get a little bit of an idea about how we did it by reading my build thread (in my sig). | |
