This is just a bandaid for the time being till I finish my set of wheel hubs. Or I might save those hubs for another project and just buy some aftermarket wheel hubs for this craftsman. I can't make my mind up yet on what I need to do. But I do know I want to get rid of the slop out of the factory wheels (rear). This should do it.

I didn't do it today but over the last few weeks I've tinkered with the $250 mud mower I bought a few weeks ago.
Before
After
As you can see I found a Roper fender pan ($15), I had to cut it to fit on what was left of the original and because I'm not motivated to spend much time or money on it I just banged it on with self tapping screws! Lol
I also added handles, trimmed the front bumper to clear bigger tires which I stole of the Trailblazer temporarily. I gutted the wiring harness leaving only what was necessary for it to start to shut down, I don't understand why a lawn tractor needs a complicated setup involving a module and start/kill relay... maybe I'm just too basic!
Well, she ain't much but it's still a good beater tractor and great for newbies to the sport!
Years and Years ago I get a set of 27in mud tires. Finally slapped them on some wheels. Fronts were easy to deal with, but Imhaving trouble getting the bead to seat on the rears.

The 13hp is closest to stock. ($400) Can't really afford the 15hp right now. ($500) Probably don't want to go smaller but i like the price of the 8hp more.... ($300)
Red Stag had to be pushed outside because I still don't have a head.
My 2024 Build Off tractor Chubb Cadet is only at 5% but no reason why I can't pressure wash it, order parts to fix the oil leak and check tire fitment.
