| super glue or epoxy works wonders. lol. or drill a hole in the middle of it and bend the throttle cable into the hole and than use the epoxy or glue. thats stronger | |

| i have a gas pedal and i modified the stock cable to work. so i would probably try and make it work first before finding a new plastic piece but that is up to you. i like having a challenge | |

| Funny thing about opinions... We all have them. I would not just bypass the governor. Use it, or pull it.
I think it would be dead simple to drill a hole thru the plastic slide, and fit a screw in it. Put an eyelet on the throttle cable and attach. Or, if you're handy with the needlenose pliers, bend an eye in the cable and attach directly.

| I figure by contradicting Doc, I have just sentenced myself to a Karma induced governor internals failure... but for what it's worth... we (Stretch and I) have never gone spelunking in the engine case to remove the internals after bypassing the governor, and we have not had one fail yet...
pardon me...

*Furiously knocking on wood*. That's funny right there, I don't care who you are! LMAO Hey- Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. You may notice in my article that I emphasize 2 things. 1)Nothing is entirely predictable. Might happen, might not. 2)More likely in SOME engines than others due to design and construction. Give the wood a couple hits for me, too.

| i dont want to bypass the governor just because of that so i think im going to drill a hole and run my brake cable through and i have an end piece to the cable to hold it in place and put a return spring and hopefullly it will work! | |
