| Yes. Get rid of the sad, factory excuse for a rod end, and swap in a Heim Joint (aka Rose Joint, aka Spherical Rod End). It'll cost ya a buck or two, but well worth it. | |

| All over hell's half acre. Good auto parts stores may carry them, specialty fastener stores, countless online retailers. Hit Google running. You outghta be swamped with places. I get mine at Princess Auto but it won't do you any good in the USA. Maybe try Tractor Supply? | |

| You replace the rod end with the heim joint, and you take out the ball from the broken end and replace it with a bolt that goes through the heim joint. | |

| Ain't no trick to it. You'd purchase a female (so it has an internally threaded sleeve, not a male thread. Take that silly ball out of the steering arm, and remove what's left of the factory joint from your drag link. Bolt on and go. | |

| You lost me on that question. You are very simply replacing that factory joint with an aftermarket one. Screw it right on to your existing drag link, bolt it into your existing steering arm. One off, the other on. Nothing to it, no further analysis required. | |

| So- you'd thread the new heim joint right onto your drag link (the proper term for that rod coming from your steering box) and run a bolt thru the eye of the heim joint into your steering arm (where that ball was). I honestly cannot make it any clearer than that. | |

| Don't worry- everybody's new sometime. Yes- you will have to carefully measure the threaded portion of the drag link. Also measure the diameter of the hole in the steering arm. | |

| oky so this is where the ball joint went on the drag link, i cant thread it and if i grind it off behind it it will cause a musalignment issue, would i be better off buying a new drag link and starting from there? | |

| If that's the case, that changes things. Can you post a pic of the entire drag link? If you cannot unscrew it, it won't work as planned. Can you weld? | |
