How much does it move? like at a creep or full blown moving? If so tighten your brakes very slightly and drive it around.. It'll stretch you belt just enough to run well.. I know with my pony it runs on a 69 and 1/2 belt factory.. so i buy a 69 and strech it.. We actually have a trailer we load up and pull up hill.. stretched in an hour or so faster if its loaded more.. Better off to just run it until it stops.. The faster you stretch it.. the faster the belt stops working for u.. MTDs you must be patient with them.. But they arent bad..

When my mtd had vari drive my clutch never worked, it would slow down to a crawl but not stop. I might have put the belt on wrong but I gave up on it.

the vari drive/FNR i have now creeps. if i put it in neutral, the tranny spools up, and when i shift into foreward, it jerks foreward about a foot. same in reverse. not sure there is a fix for it
