Briggs vtwin pull start help?

Has anyone ever made a pull start for a twin engine before and does anyone know if it would pull over fast enough or would it be to much resistance. Thanks

I have seen it done on YouTube before. If your valves are set right it will pull over fine. Just be a bit heavier.

The FSM for those engines shows manual start as a factory option, so it certainly is doable. Best bet? Source the OEM parts, and it's a bolt-on affair.

Say- looking at your avatar... Can I have some detail on what you've done to your rear tires?

Sure what I did was take boat trailor tires and wheels, I took some bobcat skid steer tires I found and cut the sides off and took the tread shortened them and welded chains through the tread and to the wheels. My version of tread overs or tank tracks! Here's a closer pic

That's pretty creative! Do they work well? It'd be really cool to do it with some deep-tread ag tires!

Ya they work great they spin some just because they are old and worn out but makes the track width much better and very good in ruts

As I see it, it's a good way to have some serious treads, without melting your wallet. Nice!

Ya didn't cost me anything except like 10 bucks in chain
