| I'm kinda of school, and self taught. Recently work sent me for a MONTH of welding, as in welding all day long, 5 days a week. I didn't do much stick weld before, but now I would say I can! Mig is my favorite still, have an old miller 200 that I got in trade, for fixing a forklift.
Try youtube vidoes, search overhead mig, or stick, or vertical mig. Plenty of good videos to help show you how it is done. | |

| Lay beads, and watch that puddle and use a gas mask if you don't do it outside or in poor ventilation. And when you start a fire, remember you have a gas mask on and not like I did when you start to blow the fire out | |
