It doesn't even have to be your fault. My mother in law rides a Harley, A couple years ago she was going down the interstate and a Semi going the other direction had to avoid a stalled car that was re-entering the road right in front of him. He ended up loosing control, hit the center concrete barrier and his front fenders flew off hitting my mother-in-law. She ended up doing a front flip off into the ditch. Medical team that arrived thought her leg was going to need amputated. They got her to the Hospital via helicopter. Cleaned her up. Turned out her left leg below the knee was filleted down to the bone. They were able to fix that. She has a gnarley scar now and pain from time to time, but still has her leg. Only other injuries she had was some minor cuts and bruises.

Yeah my left leg got the toothpick treatment. I still have the screws for the rod in, and the ones near my knee bother me. Any sort of weird torsion and cold kill me. Actually took half a day off today cause I could barely walk this am.

Man, that sounds like it sux big time.

I love riding, and ill do it till it kills me. Thats why as soon as I was able I went and bought a bike that was 4x as powerful as my last lol. Athough I may sell it in spring, as its a road bike and I need an enduro. Ill sacrifice speed and comfort for maneuverability any day. Just a shame the XT600 is kick-only.

It takes a long time to get used to when you first start out. Maybe a couple years before your really really comfortable with it. Depending on how often you ride of course.

The little bit that I've rode them, I felt pretty comfortable with them. I wasn't gonna do any trials stuff, but I was alright with em

Didnt take me too long. Only was like 2-3 months from when I dumped it test riding it in your driveway till I was taking it on 120mi trips upstate lol. I did put 4k on it after all...

So yesterday it was 18 degrees or so...and today, the day I can't romp, it's like 45...lol. Typical.
