Do you guys think a rear rack on my mower would hold up if i made it out of pressure treated 2x4's and cypress siding? I will be using it for carrying some rope a come along a can of gas and a few tools. I plan on drilling some holes in my frame and bolting the 2x4's to it with the cypress on top and a little lip on the edge to keep things from falling off and a few eye bolts for tie down points.

If you support it right and make the rack good, itll hold nearly anything.
