| Looks great red! I noticed your rear clutch pulley is bent 3-5 degrees compared to the front one, is there a meaning for this? | |

| If you want to go back in the thread and check out when I made the clutch go ahead. The clutch ass. is 1/2" higher than the rear pulley but I don't thing that will affect anything.

| I really like all the work you've done with this, it will be a solid tractor when your done, did you swap back to a unlocked rear axle? I know you said you didn't like yours locked | |

I haven't got around to going to the junkyard getting one but the axles can move around in the case, really worn down. That's another big reason why I want another transaxle

| Got a few things done today. More hp boosters: Well I repeated the process on the other side, bracing. this side had a big slot cut out for the stock pully. I plated it up. Paint....zing! Steering rod and a poorly done exhaust need love. didn't like the gray on the exhust but I need high temp paint. | |

| I pulled the mower out to see if the frame flexed any more after the bracing I did. ill try some more positions too but it looks great. Front tire was bearly touching the ground. this is the improvement it made: (before after) Liking it so far. | |

| When you build the slipper retainers, leave maybe 1/16"-1/8" of room top to bottom, and side to side for them to move. Much more than that, and they'll be pretty sloppy and noisy. Much less, and they will bind up too much. Replace the bushings at the eye end, too. You may want to consider removing a leaf to soften them up a bit for offroad use. When you put the full weight of the frontend on them, do they deflect at all? I'm guessing they're a bit too stiff as they are. Either way, I love the leaf springs. Good on ya for using them! | |

Ill keep that in mind when I build the springs. They seem kinda soft, at leafy wen I put my full weight on one (witch ain't much LOL) it seems to flex about a inch down. When I mocked it up yesturday they sagged slightly. I don't have a problem with taking one out if it seems to hard. Can't wait to ride this.
