| Fantastic, man! I love ammo cans and use them for all kinds of things. Some examples-
*When I ad my YJ with soft top, I bolted a large ammo can to the inside of the tailgate and applied a padlock. Bulletproof secure valuables storage on a vehicle that's open to theft/
*I secured socket rails to the inside of a wide flat one to make a toolbox that fir under my truck seat
*Replaced the crappy plastic factory tool box on my Quad with one.
*Used one as a battery box on my old go kart
*Got one mounted to MULE to store recovery tools
*Countless ones used as toolboxes in my garage
*I use another big one for cleaning all the coals and ash out of my woodstove safely
And I'm sure I have forgotten a few. Ammo cans make the best tool boxes because they are steel and feature stout hinges, latches and handles, and as long as the gasket is intact, completely waterproof.

| Aww- nevermind the ratchet strap... Bolt that dang ammo can in!
That cylindrical front bumper is intriguing... What was it? I ask because if it's strong enough, and if you can seal both ends... Weld a bung in it, and use it for a compressed air reservoir!

| as you all know i havent been on in forever, and there is a reason, bout a year and a half ago me and my ex split, and it hit me hard and i stopped everything, then about a year ago i got a good job, then another, ao for the past year ive been working 1 full time job and 3 part time jobs,. ive scraped most of my mower stuff cause ive lost interest in most of it, i still have the lifted craftsman frame, the deuce, the buggy, the mini, the honda, and the old sears, but i scrapped everything else. and i prolly wont get around to working on them anytime soon, i have a new project now that im working on, and i will post a thread on it on here either today or later this week, i apologize for the extremely long absence, and im going to try to get on here more often to help in anyway i can, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask away, Richie, | |

| well, hell. i would like to apologize to all my friends and buddies on here, i know it has literally been years since ive been on the forum and for that i am sorry, between working 3 jobs, and then getting married, and now having a youngin on the way my time has been consumed by everything but one pf my hobbies i truly enjoyed, ive gotten rid of most of my mowers, whereas at one point i had 28, im now down to 5. i might be about to get 2 more, but the best of those two is going to be for cutting grass, the other one though, i think im going to start a new project, nothing outrageous, yet then again all of my previous builds started as "simple builds, and to my good friends, dustin, redline, doc, thunderdivine, mr. modified, doug, and rainbowboxer, i hope to catch up with you all soon, thanks, richie thomas | |
