| I need info on this mower please. I really do not know who actually builds it to start with. The Data tag says 917.270810. It's a 19.5 L-head OP Briggs with a 42 inch cut. I've not torn aything down yet , but suspect the rear axles are the type with a round shaft with two flats on the side that fit into the wheel hub withan e-clip. What rear end does this have? Is there an easy way to install a sprocket onto the axle end for a chain drive? BTW, it's a craftsman.

| Sears Parts Direct shows it as a Foote/Dana 4360-122 6 speed, from the parts diagram I found it looks like it has the flats on the axle, It only took a couple minutes to fing that. | |
