The rear tires are mud blaster 22x8.50x8 with a max run pressure of 5psi, perfect for subsituting suspension! The frons are carlile snow hogs (ITP hole shots) just cheaper 18x6.5x8 streached on to the stock murray rear rims keep the questins comming, i love to share!!

So as you can tell, my days have been lacking tractor hours. But looking at your tractor and other peoples builds on here really gives me the itch to dig mine out and work on it. All your tractor needs is a star on the side of it like the ones on the army jeeps.

| Nice tractor - i have a pair of the same rear tires cept mine are 'wooley boogers' - got em for $20 for the pair at a flea market.
I thought of getting a set of those 'snowblower ' front tires for my wizard mod - ill be using 4 - 6" rims - theyd be good for turf running.

| Yeah mine are 8" rims also - a pair of 4 bolt hubs i bot years ago fit the wheels perfect along with the 1" axles on my GT. If they didnt fit, i have a bunch of other golf kart rims that wouldve fit reguardless. The GT has tall wheels already on the back stock - so them boogers should fit w/o modding the fenders.
I was shocked when i saw and asked the guy how much those wheels were - when he sed "$20 for both " I like nearly threw him the cash and almost grabbed the wheels and took off running - he got them for a project he never started - just wanted em gone.

| H'mm. What ya do to the Briggs? They're good engines when taken care of. Then again, I'm not having that much fun with my Briggs right now. Had to do an oil change because it flooded and filled the crankcase up with fuel. | |

Well.... the guy I got it from said he had just rebuilt it, but with all the other crap he "mist" while "fixing" it up I doubt it was actually rebuilt. along with the fact that it was leaking oil within a week of getting it home... witch I doubt would happen so quickly with new seals that come with all the rebuild kits I've looked at. but honestly, it was probably my fault. my throttle cable was conected directly to the governor, an with my very limited knowledge of how one works I'm sure I over rev'ed it one to many times. oh well thou. I wanted a kohler for it any way and I'm sure I'll be using the doner craftsman chassis for a racer an the briggs will be rebuilt for that. it still runs, but the oil is full of those nasty little silver flakes... p.s. that sucks, hope you cot it before it wiped any thing!!! And the stock turfs look fine on the front of your rig, at least i like it lol. maybe some "snow hogs" tires if you don't run across some other atv style hubs in the near future.

| Whats up guy?? I got the kohler all wired up, mounted and running!! This is how the silinoid looked b4 i pulled it out, its now clean an mounted up high were it should be safe... [img] [/img] Got the head lights wired up too, used the craftsman plug so I can remove them if needed. The best part about the new wiring is that it provideds full 12v and its switched at the key! (red arowes) the exhoust is going to exit out the other side of the tractor now, good imo because theres a deck leave on the other side that made it run to close to the tire for my comfort. [img] [/img] Heres the new switch, the red wire ends are for a volt meter witch I found out completes the power circuit. its cool I wanted to use it any way. [img] [/img] Got the switches removed, every thing "loomed" up an tucked out of the way. Those are the elec' switches, still need to be mounted... ] [/img] Nice BIG oil filder, nice BIG fuel filter... and I'm hopping I can just hook the foot/throttle cable to this existing bracketry. [img] [/img] [/img] Thats all for now! any questions I can answer, I'd be happy to. hope y'all enjoy!! | |

so far I love them, theres one on my son's tractor, an one on the simplicity. we've had that one since i was like 10 years old, been beating on it mowing with it an of course romp'd on it. She still runs like a top!! so I sure I'll ejoy this one too. the oiling system is a huge plus imo plus it much quieter with more HP.
