What tires should I get for mud? I was thinking about some carlisle 20x10-8 super lug I can get them for 70.00 each no shipping local. Any tips? the rims I have slide right on to the axle shaft and 20x10-8 will fit.

I never knew what the name carlisle had for those tires. I personally would say use those or look for Gorilla Silverbacks(a little tooo much lug for a lawn tractor)!

Does anyone think I would bust my transaxle with the 20x10 super lugs? 6" front 4 1/2" rear pulleys

I dont think it would total the transmission but it would put more wear on it. If you do anything that is putting stress on the trans it will eventually bust it. I think it would last long enough but don't expect it to last your hole life.
