| I love it, finally get to see a 4wd. There's been a lot of talk about this, but seems like noone had the time, parts, and motivation to get it done. I look forward to seeing this one built. | |

| shouldn't the front and rear axles turn opposite from each other when turning? Otherwise very cool! | |

| Very cool indeed. The front axle is facing backwards, what are your plans to run it in sync with the rear? | |

| Youll have less issues mounting the front trans in the correct position - doesnt matter- the trans will still have to be run in reverse to go forward.
Ive seen this guy on YT do a 6x6 - he mounted the trans up front normal, ran shift linkages to the center of the tractor - one for the front- 2 for the rear .
I think he used a regular motor pulley - ran the front trans off the bottom and the rear off the top - you could make a stacked pulley of same sized pulleys- bolt or weld two together.
For the back, being lifted so high itd be best to add a piece of metal to raise the pulley into the chassis , and out of the way of debris/mud, ect. - front could be handled the same way.
Youll have tighter steering making the wheels turn opposite then the same direction- i have a 4ws 'normal' tractor that turns literally on a dime setup with opposite steer wheels.
Ive considered building a monster 4x4 tractor out of a 90's GT6000 ( no 4ws- too many points for breakage) using a horizontal shaft twin cylender, stock GT 6000 3speed hi/low trans and a 69 wheelhorse 3 speed hi/low trans up front - that way can have hi/low ranges ( mud /climbing), also the ability to run in 2 wheel drive with the use of a electric clutch ( for traveling) - right now i dont have the time or real reason to build one ( heck havent even finished my offroad agway yet - also planned on a 4x4 setup for that too) - im building a speed mod tractor first actually.

| the tranny will work the way that its at now and im goting to have power steering in the back so i can make it turn botth ways like i can have it like in the pic or the other way to with just a flip of switch and im going to run a dubble stacked pollie off the back shaft to the front and its going to have 4x4 all the time | |

That will work. It may need a few guides, but that shouldn't be an issue. I've twisted belts when using my 2 wheelers to power other things before

| This is exactly what I want to do, I have found one 4WS Lawn Tractor and im trying to get a price on the tractor(hopefully for cheap). and I would love to do that to my tractor, I like the idea of going all out and doing 4WD and 4WS:D | |

| That is wicked awesome man! I've thought about doing a setup like that for years but can't find parts. I'm really curious now to see how yours will work out!!! Good job so far! | |

| Do you have to use the stock transaxle with those U-Joints and inner/outer knuckles, or can you mount them to a diffrent transaxle? Anybody? And in my opinion if you drive the tractor in anything other than mudd or loose dirt I wouldnt weld the front axle. Would make it a PIA to turn. | |
