Well the 17.5 Briggs is alive. Again but there is a few problems at I have one of the come in the mail and it be the 2 and it has now a new stator with diode and it has ground wire issues git hot untill the coating melts . And it is wired for push button start and toggle kill switch and the toggle switch is turn up side down and the toggle switch has a lil light build in And it will run as long as I pour gas down the breather hole but the new carb will be the 2 as I mentioned in the beginning of this. And thanks to the people of the forum for the advice and there information and I used this wiring diagram

@bairleafarm Basically the only issue is the ground cable git hot and it melts the coating off the wire and the carb is the most issue I haveing with it but the new carb will be the 2nd . And I done put a new stators and coil and that fix but the ground wire is mostly the problem now is figuring out why the ground cable is gitting hot.

The ground wire getting hot and melting the insulation tells me there's a short somewhere, that ground wire goes from the battery to where exactly? Are there any other wires attached to it?
Also, if you're using the toggle switch that has a light as a kill switch you won't be able to make it light up unless it's wired to a 5 pin relay without causing a short circuit. Get your hands on one of these (with the harness) and I'll draw you out a diagram how to wire it so the switch works right side up, with the light, as an igntion/kill switch. It can actually be wired so the push start button won't work unless the switch is up and the light is on!
The kill switch should have no power whatsoever to it. I know you would like for it to light, but when you add power to it, your essentially running power to ground through the magneto coil. That could be why you are melting the ground.
Also, throw you a fuse in there between the alternator and solenoid. See if it blows. 20 amp maybe.

@MightyRaze that's exactly right I bought a cheap kill switch and where you're supposed to hook it to the coils it back fed charge and burnt my coils up (only difference is mine was a key switch)

You don't HAVE to flip it upside down for it to work, it will just be upside down as to how you want it UNLESS you file down the little tab inside the flapper hole and turn the switch around!
Coil to switch then to ground is right BUT unless your switch is different than mine then you have to move the wire from the side of the switch and put it on the bottom with the other, that's the actual circuit. The wire on the side should be marked as ground which is only for when you use the light (which you can't do yet). Mine has posts with the 2 bottom ones listed as 12v and light with the ground on the side.
Yes those relays would work perfect! Ignore the wiring diagram for now, it needs to be setup differnt for a kill wire
@brainator it's the same man I just file the lil tab thang out and flip it like redneck computer geek said to do and I done it all the same as what they said Todo and I followed the diagram post in the pic and here on the forum.

It would take you years to go through 20 so if you see a smaller pack for way cheaper that's the better option.
Fearless Fronts diagram is good, I mean the diagram in the relay pictures, for you it needs to be wired slightly differently. I'll get something drawn up and when you're ready just holler! Lol
@brainator thanks man I will when I git the relays in and I'll look for a cheaper pack of the same and the 20 pack is 8 bucks and some changes from ebay

Another quick tip, you want to mention someone without quoting their post. You can hit the instead and it will auto populate their @"username" in the quick reply area below.
