My hub on the left rear keeps sliding in, but never out thankfully. So I fabbed up a spacer out of PVC. Used a thrust washer from the old MST so it doesn't rub into the end of the axle shaft.
I also installed a tach/temp that I am checking out.
Seems to work well. Time will tell if it holds up. A few reviews say the waterproof does not work. Most say it does. We will see on that. The temp sensor on this model fits under the spark plug. There is a version with an oil sensor. That may have worked well too.
Tach looks nice. By oil sensor, you mean oil level, right? Your oppy is splash, isn't it?

Sorry, the other version had an oil "temperature" sensor instead of under the spark plug sensor. I was going to opt for that one instead, but I could not figure out the threads. I feared they were metric and not fit in the extra 3/8" Standard plug hole the oppy has.

Makes sense. I imagine the head would be the best place to measure temp from.

Looks great! Hard to believe those temperatures are that low. I guess I never saw water boil off a Briggs head though, so 183 isn’t completely unreasonable.

Do you have seat springs?
Thanks! The seat is attached straight to the fenders. I think I have like 3-4 psi in the rears so that takes more hits than springs would.

I have a set of seat springs ordered tonight. We'll see how that works out. Also, after much deliberation, while hydraulic brakes like @Crazy_Carl are pretty cool, I am thinking of going with mechanical. They should be good enough.

Looks like the springs come in Tues. At least for now, we know how things like to get to OKC then ship back out 1000 miles away then back to OKC.
In other news.... I finally sprayed down the tractors and the paint on RB didn't fare well on the wheels. Not surprised as they were painted about 3.5 years ago during the pandemic and the paint shortage. All I could find was Krylon. I am not a fan of it. Time to try and clean them up for repaint. Keep them white? Go with the grey like the front bumper? (if I can find it. I think that color was discontinued ), or something else? Right now I am leaning white. I do have a can of Rustoleum white hanging out.

Silver might be sharp. Same could be said for body match red, like the big IH tractors of later years.
And I hear ya, krylon is garbage. I painted my snowblower with regular rustoleum, the drift cutters with krylon. The rustoleum has not faded an ounce but the krylon has gone from pumpkin orange to a greyed pink in two years. It’s kept in full shade too.
That valspar they used to have was pretty good paint, but they discontinued it for reasons I still do not fully understand. Probably EPA something or other if I were to guess.

I started at 10 this morning and can only say 1 wheel is done. It's super hot 102 and muggy about 40% humidity. Hoping to get the second wheel done today. Lots of paint dust.

Looks good. I was thinking on black wheels either of my horses. That combo was always good on Mutt. I’ve seen a couple horses with gold wheels and those look pretty cool.

Get those seat springs yet?
I thought about black, but I don't have any black on hand. Springs come in Tues, same like you have on the Lawn Ranger.
