Got the factory trans axle opened up and it looks pretty rough.
Found out why this mower was parked... guess its time to get this cleaned up and find a new chain.
Also having issues with the shifter not lining up with Zeus's transaxle. I swapped over the shift linkage as well and the angle of the mounting holes are off. So i figured it would just be easier and better to fet the factory transaxle going.

Due to life issues the builds have been off to a slow start but ive been making slow progress.
Ended up taking the whole transaxle apart and cleaned out the old nasty grease. It was a nightmare for sure. Even using gloves and being careful to not get grease everywhere, it still ended up everywhere in my shop lol Let everything sit in gasoline for a while and used a brush to scrub everything clean, rinsed with water then sprayed everything down with brake cleaner. Met up with another member for a trade and set me up with a new reverse chain some front wheels and a couple old motorcycle mufflers. For now im going to leave the diff open just to get this project moving so i can make some progress on Zeus for the build off. Hopefully this weekend we can ride!

Well its moving on it own power now but ive run into an issue i should have noticed sooner. If i press the clutch/brake down too far the clutch pulley hits the engine pulley. But in 1st gear its about as fast as my grass cutting mower. Anyone know what i can do about the clutch?

Unfortunately on dynamarks you can only run a 4” engine pulley with the factory clutch set up. If you re locate the clutch pulley further back on the clutch arm, you can sneak a 5” engine pulley.
Youre poop out of luck on dynamarks, aside from moving your engine forward, or building a new clutch system youre stuck with a smaller engine pulley than most other brands

Have you done this? Do you have any post or videos explaining the procedure?

If you search on here you can find my AMF build which uses the same frame/clutch as a dynamark and I show how I put a clutch setup out of a craftsman GT6000 in it. It worked really well and I ran a 8 inch engine pulley iirc
