I really want to move the battery and at the same time maybe put in a smaller battery. I really won't be running any accessories and am thinking of going for a 20ah battery.
Does that seem about right or does anyone have any idea if it would be better to go higher or lower.
Iam running a Briggs 31 ohv by the way..

I'm guessing the 20ah battery is around 260-330 cold cranking amps. Another guess Briggs 31, I'm guessing model 31 single vs a 31hp twin. Not sure "hp" is used outside the US much vs using "cc" or "cu".
Yeah sorry Iam a full time lawnmower mechanic so hp doesn't really mean that much to me.
31 ohv is a 17.5 hp Briggs Intek single indeed but if I would say that to the simpleton that picks up the phone at Briggs he would get a seizure
20ah would fall somewhere in that range yes although you can safely say that we never have any cold starts here since it hasn't been below 50f in 100 years
