This is the wheel horse 210-5 I picked for 50 buck a couple weekends ago This is the custom rocker plate clearance mod someone did to it when ever they replaced the engine The foot throttle I rigged up

The cable is off of and old MTD hand throttle so I don't have to have a spring on the engine side and the pedal is a piece of 4" angle iron (or whatever) cut down to about 1.5 to 2 inches, welded to a door hinge (I won't show you those welds, mine in general are pretty brutal) and bolted to the frame, and the spring I found lying around in my junk so no idea where that came from. Anyway, didn't spend anything on it so I guess it's pretty OK Also had to "reupholster" (With duct tape) a seat off an MTD because the old one was missing all the foam so you had to sit on 4 bolts holding them up
Also I was looking on Kijiji for quad tires and there are a few that are cheap but they would all be too big, (About 25x8-12 vs my 18x9.50-8)where do you guys get your tires?

That looks a like a good solid machine to start off I like it! My tires came off a 200cc offshore quad that I bought off Kijiji for $100, ironically the rears are the same size as the original turf tires (which are the same size as yours) and I find them a little small so I've been keeping my eyes open for more.
Yeah, I would love some 12 inchers but they wouldn't fin under the fender... I found a pair of 18x8.00-8 tires for 25 bucks, do you think those would work on the 18x9,50-8s Here's more pics of the belt setup, still need to add guards, really annoying that I can't post more than 3 at once

quad tires are always better then factory my current rally tractor has stock turfs that grip real well and i do mostly street driving so i dont really need atv tires. the turfs are deep tread and can be found for pretty cheap but id still go for atv tires. and if you ask locals i bet a set of atv tires can be cheap or even free i got 3 sets of wheels and they all fit an 8 inch rim but are HUGE balloon tires

I had to learn how to post pics too. Post your stuff, save and then edit it. Then you can add 3 more. It is possible to fiddle around and get more without saving, but I find it easier for me to just post and then edit. Then you can put as many as you need in the post.

Well maybe they would... depends on the tires' design. Measure from the inside of the fender down to the axle, multiply by 2 and subtract 1 inch. That's your approximate max tire size, unless you have 4 bolt rear hubs your rim size is limited.
I'd imagine those tires would work, I'd measure the rim width first to be sure.
How I post more than 3 photos is to upload and insert your 3 photos, hit the "remove all" button then upload and insert more.
That's a bummer but are you sure they're not worth it? Tires ain't cheap and if they're in good condition $25 plus some time and fuel seems okay to me.
That's too bad, I figured they would as most lawn tractor rear wheels are 8" wide. I'm keeping my eyes out for tires as it is so if I find new ones for myself or any for you I'll let you know but.... so you have any salvage yards around you that deal with tractors and atvs? I have around me and they have piles of tires!
I don't actually have a ton of cash to throw at this, but I got an STX 38 for free a while back that I will but some cash into, and whatever i get from that I will probably put toward this
The seat with just a touch of duct tape-still leak water onto my butt a little The front pulley is actually off an mtd, I basically did the "front flip" but had to add in the pulley
Need to figure out what suits it "personality"! Crazy Horse, Wheelie Horse, Horsin' Around... I dunno. Lol. Watch some tractor pull videos and maybe you'll see something you like!

I’ve gotten a good price from Napa on my front tires. Might be worth calling around to the auto shops for ya.
Neat rig by the way, I like how the valve cover sticks out
