Hillbilly Offroading "General Lee" Jacobsen Homelite Mud Mower [2019 Build-Off Entry] [Participant]

Howdy folks! This is my Lifted 1988 Jacobsen Homelite LT10 Mud Mower AKA General Lee. I entered it in the 2019 Build-Off but wasn't able to complete in time due to welder issues .  I've owned this tractor since June 2018 but I've been eyeballing    it since 2009 in an abandoned camping lot on a farm beside ours. It's gone from being tiny in size to quite large. 8" taller then stock height due to the over sized tires, 2" transaxle lift blocks, and 2" fender lift. If you have any questions feel free to ask. After 2 months the tractor is back in the shop.

Installed a pull start on the oppy for the Jacobsen.

Excellent! What brand deck the pulley come from?

@MightyRaze Found it in a stock pile of bad pulleys, hubs, belts, and other deck parts in the cabinet in the shop. Over in the corner I dont really mess with. My guess is all that junk was from our old Craftsman YS4500.

Got the opposed twin in. Wish I had a YT instead of a LT because the frame is longer and paneling is a little different.  Big engine fir this little frame. Cant fit 10 lb of crap in a 5 lb bag. I'll have to do some trim work.

Got it all wired up except headlights/taillights and my horns. I found out that my starter solenoid was shorting out so picked a new $15 dollar one that's grounds out by the base. I'm wanting to put a hidden main kill switch under that hood or in the trunk so it kills all. Need a 6gage kill switch to kill battery power going to the solenoid. Need to go back on excel and add that on to the wiring diagram I created.

Wiring system seems to work. Now that white wire may look out of place and it is lol. Not hooked up. It's for the head and tail lights. Should I tap the wires hear and there or leave it?

Added a main kill today with some other fancy stuff.

Any guesses?

@MightyRaze I wanted to mount them like that so bad on the oppy but lack of room was the issue. Didn't want to use up all my trunk space so I was like ok maybe but the compressor in the trunk and mount horns in the frame tunnel.

@MightyRaze did you wire your switch straight to the battery or what?

This is how mine is set up.  Except for some reason I put the fuze between the switch and ground?  I should move that.
