MTD 175/105 clutch slipping

Hello everybody. This is my first post on this forum and I am sorry if this question already accured.
And sorry if my english is bad, I am writing from Europe/Slovenija.

So the question:
I have MTD 175/105 silvertrak and has this clutch assembly (it is manual).

It is 2 years old and it is already slipping. Has this clutch samo sort of setup, that you can tighten it? I have already disassembled the old one and I don't remember if i has.
I found this video xxx and it is the same as mine. can I put some washer under the clutch ring that it will be higher and it would have more friction?

You should be able to post links. On the toolbar next to the youtube icon is a chain with a green/white + on it. Try using that.

Is it one of the vari-drive deals? My John Deere 110 with the JD variator (they're pretty similar) had that issue once, and I fixed it by getting a new front belt.
