Mower campout/ride this fall, My house? Phoenix Offroad?

Hey guys, just trying to get a fall romp together, Love to see a big group get together. I was checking out Phoenix offroad and they seem to have some good trails that could be fun on mowers, and its very close to some of the guys in PA that always have to drive far to ride with us. Im also game with hosting people at my house. Im basically how much interest there would be. Any Takers?

I'm definitely interested.  Haspin is frickin far but this offroad park is a reasonable drive for me.  Hopefully work slows down this fall and I can make it.  I'd love to bring Ol Red and my ATC200.

If you give me a set date I would be interested in a ride as long as nothing else is going on, definitely is close

I would go (I'm in Cleveland)but the timing is off this year. No time to build something to ride or fix up to ride. If I do go in the future, I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind going either, she would probably drop me off and take the truck to the casino near there (Meadows is here favorite) for the weekend and leave me stranded there while she plays, LOL.
Just got done talking with her about it, Evidently Meadows is too far out of the way for her, LOL, but the Mountaineer casino would be more to her liking. She might stop long enough to let me unload and kick the rig out the back so she can turn and burn to the casino for the duration. It would be for a couple of days, right?

Well Ive been trying to contact Phoenix Offroad park for a few days, with no sucess. So it seems like the only option with them would be to show up for there open Atv ride. which might not go so well depending on how busy they are. but its the 27/28th of October. I guess what we need to Iron out is would more people like to go to Phoenix on a busy type weekend or stay at my place and ride the 100 acres I have access too. Id like to check out phoenix but Id be game for either

definietely keep trying to get a hold of the park and see what they think, but a weekend on your 100 acres sounds awesome!

Well Ive been looking and found another possibility, Lightning Raceway in Tippecanoe Ohio. they have 100 acres of trails there, and free primitive camping, and free firewood if you cut it yourself. only 10$ per day and theyre open everyday, so no having to worry about scheduleing around the days they are open. heres a couple vids

So to add another option to the mix, Tecumseh Trails Offroad park, not gonna lie trails look like the best out of the options in my opinion, whats your guys thoughts ?

Tecumseh trails definitely looks better than Phoenix offroad to me.  I would definitely have to lock Ol Red and get the winch on it before I go.

Well I just joined Tecumseh Trails facebook group and asked if they would allow tractors, and they haven't answered in a day or so, so maybe they wont let us in? Ill keep trying and let ya know what I find out

So finally some good news! Tecumseh finally got back with me and they would be happy to have us, plus I got some more info on their trails, they have 60 miles of well marked trails on 1500 acres. Free primitive camping, 15 dollars a day to ride. Redz or Carl you interested? Im guessing Andy would be in and maybe a couple of couple of the Local guys here, also guessing Doug and Mr. Modified arent looking to come this far again this year, much as Id love to have them. Ill message the mowrons and see if they are interested. Im thinking early October, any dates work better for any of you guys?

I would be interested oct 6 I plan to take my truck to an off-road park, but any other weekend could work for me

weekend of 12 13 14 work for you Carl? and would it be better as a friday sat sunday thing or just sat sun? I have to take a day of work no matter what so it dont make a difference to me

it should be a good time, I just talked to Andy, hes in but can only do it 27/28 weekend, Also he is sounding like he can only do one day, kinda seeming like a 1 day trip may work out better? Carl Im pretty sure your coming the farthest, so Im still game for a 2 day to make it worth your time, just let me know what your thinking, also just FYI for any interested, there is also a full service campground with hot showers and electic hookups 4 miles from Tecumseh trails.

Here's my deal.  Since I didn't make it to Haspin and work has been stressful lately I'd really could use a long weekend trip/vacation.  Spending two or three nights at the nice campground and going down the road to go riding during the day sounds awesome.  I'm flexible on the date.  Two days of riding would be just the right amount for me, but I could live with 1.

Be sure to get lots of footage! Next closest thing to being there haha

Wonder if the haspin mower or the dynamark would be a better match for the trails, might be a little too muddy for the haspin mower

Ive never been on the trails personally, but it does look pretty muddy, so Id guess the dynamark, though most of the trails look like they have some hills, but we can always just walk the tractors if the hills are too steep
