Well the tranny is probably around a 2:1 ratio in 3rd gear , and the axle is a 2:1 I just need to put a smaller pulley gear on the axle than what would be normal

Thanks everybody. Made it through surgery fine, barely can move from the soreness and I'm not allowed to lift more than 8 lbs.not sure how mower modding is go to work well lol. Should be out tomorrow if everything goes to plan.

Take your time, and take it easy. We don't want you to have long term issues that keep you from your builds. Glad the surgery went well.

I am going to use this old Murray RER tranny plate area to hold the foote . The bolt holes match up and input is in the same spot. I will just strip down the Murray and then slice out the spot I want so it will fit right in the mtd frame and I can weld it right in.
