bow tie mud guy here and i want to enter this new build !! its a Montgomery ward that i picked up last year and my daughter fell in love with this lil guy , it had a 7 hp brigs that was blown it had a 3 speed gear box that run a chain to rear axle but it had a hole in it . last summer i tore it down and painted it then stuffed it in storage , i gathered some parts from other riders , a 14 hp brigs OHV , a spicer 6 speed and some tires from a craftsman along with a craftsman front axle !! THE BUILD : im going to mount the 6 speed under it and build a 3rd gear lock out so my daughter wont be able to go past 3rd gear , it will need a stretch because the motor is so big , i will have to stretch the hood as well , it will get a revers clutch _ meaning that in order for the tractor to move you will need to push on the pedal and to stop just let go !! , it will get all new wiring and a tether kill switch , i will install seat bars to help keep her in the seat , the head lights will be used , the paint will stay the same just with the name added , it will get a set of air filled turf savers for now ( a lot better than the hard rubber it has now ) it will also get a mild pulley swap on the trans but wont touch the engine pulley after all she is only 4 years old !! i will build front and rear bumpers and when done the final video will be of her driving MUD BUG around the yard !!

MUD BUG UPDATE !! got the trans in and new pulley on , went to check motor and hood clearance and that was a no go , i had to extend the frame and hood to fit the motor , did get all 4 tires on for rolling around the shop and im on the hunt for better tires , got the steering hooked up and remounted with a set of hinges so the hood will open instead of having to unbolt it like factory , i still have parts to round up for this build but thats pretty easy to do , this build will be on the top of my list to finish so my daughter will be able to get some seat time before her first bog of the year

Just doing a sanity check to see if there are any new updates! "Nothing new to update." is and update! Just making sure everything is OK since you have not posted in a while.
