| Subject: [Complete] Redzz02's Haspin Build [2018 Build-Off Entry] February 1st 2018, 9:33 pm | |
| as some of you may know i love me some dynamarks, i recently picked up a twin to my 2nd ever dynamark that i have been beating on for over 10 years now. this one is in a little rougher shape than the first but its the perfect platform. lat year i attended the 2017 haspin acres off road park romp joining (mowrons and doug) the dynamark mud mower did wonderful but its a mud mower, it is made for flat trails and deep mud holes resulting in one roll over, so i have set sail on building a haspin rig for myself and here are my plans! dynamark haspin build: Body: full sheet metal/ slight modifications -front and rear bumpers (minimalistic) Motor: 16 hp vangaurd vtwin -ryker racing ported heads/dual valvesprings -ryker racing polished twin barrel intake -twin barrel carb -cheetah cam -high rev kit/copper head gaskets -steel intake push rods -advanced timing -two into one exhaust with muffler cut out >hand or foot throttle i have not decided chassis: im ditching the pan frame and building a tube frame that will virtually resemble stock -cutting 2 inches off of the main body panel(lower enter of gravity) -lower fenders -lower seat(extra squishy and possibly shocks) -rear axle solid mount -front axle/coil overs solid axle (mono, three, four linked?) rear axle: peerless 820 series -roms peerless race gear set - 40 inch live axle -solid axle mod(expensive way) -axle truss front axle: -2x2x1/8 tubing axle gearing: undetermined -6 inch motor 5 inch transaxle? paint: undetermined -something flashy tires: multiple combinations -rears >21x11-9 swamp lites on 9x10 hiper dual carbon fiber bead lock wheels >18x8-8 ag tire on 8 inch steel wheels > 20-9 sport atv style tread on douglass 9x8 aluminum wheels (i will have all three of these ready to throw on the mower depending on riding conditions) -front tires 16x6.5-8 on steel wheels(highspeed 3/4 bearings) miscellaneous:random mods and flashy stuff undecided i hope you guys enjoy this build and i hope to win your support and votes again this year, my dead line is the second weekend in june so lets make it happen! good luck to every one and may the best mower win! (p.s. doug dont give me any gripe about the eggplant!) (It looks excellent ~Doug) -Approved by Doug, 2/1/2018 | |

| The password was eggplant not eggplants so I only drew one big one . I have a few mowers I can take but I'm hoping to have this one done in time, it would be easy peasy if I was using the stock frame and solid front axle but I'm not so it's gonna take me a little more time | |

| @CraftsmanQuad19 @AllisKidD21 what you guys dont think the all thread is gonna be strong enough???? @Stretch44875 i wasnt a big fan of your mowers cause im used to big tires for the mud, and then once i seen them in person and seen you guys in action. i fell in love and needed to build my own lol i started working on the front end since thats the most complex part of this build and i have been messing with my geo tracker, i also plan to take to haspin, way tooooo much. as rumors are going around sadly no im not using althread for my front axle, yes i know what a bummer 2x2x1/8 square tubing for the front axle, 3x16 plate for the knuckles 3/8 heims and rod for the panhard bar, and ill be using 7/16 heims for the links. still havent decided mono or three link the passenger side of the grille had to be notched out like the factory notch on the other side running 13 inch remote reservoir shocks up front too i am going to be mounting the motor in a "backwards" position, because the v twin juggs create alot wider foot print than a single cylinder. so to avoid cutting my hood or making an exo cage, i turned it around to make room for the shocks and to keep the mass of the motor as far forward as possible | |

| Those are some fancy looking coilovers, looks sweet! If you can't decide between a 3-link or 1-link, what about a wish-bone 3-link? That's sort of a cross between both and it wouldn't need a track bar. Either I'm looking forward to seeing your front suspension come together! | Looking good Redzz02. Definite contender. I started off trying to do 3 link, I'm going to give a 1 link a try. So far it seems simple enough and doesn't take so much room underneath. At least in my case. I'm using what redlinemotorsportts did as an example. | |

| @AllisKidD21 wish bone three link is just a cheated 4 link, but it's a good idea, I think the middle top link will get in my way @mightyraze I actually saw your post right after I posted mine and saw you switched to a mono link, I was leaning more towards a mono link, but I think I'll stick with doing a 3 link, we do not want every build having a mini link now do we lol | |
