| Haspin was a blast and I can tell you she made it, the direct steering worked out a lot better than anticipated, so I might leave it alone, the mower performed phenomenal and is a world of difference, unfortunately I had a blast so personally I only have one video of my build at haspin, but you can ask anyone that was there, she performed amazing. This build is not complete to my likings or standards, but via the rules it technically would pass tech inspection, now that haspin is over and done with I might not update the thread as frequently, I believe it is time to settle down for a little bit and let the stress go but here's a few pictures of her, I hope you enjoy! | |

| Looking nice! Seems to have held up good. How did the suspension do? Get much travel/articulation out of it? | @AllisKidD21 suspension held up perfectly and worked as it should, i wasnt looking for travel as much as soaking up the bumps, it traveled just as much as i wanted to, im very pleased with the performance and no breakage for a fresh build!, one thing i can say is if you want to save your back you need rear suspension, my spine is still compressed, i guarantee the front suspension helped out alot, but it sure doesnt seem that way when you play speed racer through the woods all week long lol | |

| Yeah front suspension doesn't really soften the ride on a tractor at all, more something you do for handling, like with an IFS setup or what have you. I actually noticed a vast improvement in stability when I did the independent setup on my little Ford. A multi-link solid axle setup is nice to have for crawling 'cuz you can get some extra articulation and it takes a lot of stress offa front end parts when the front wheels come crashing down. | I have not worked on the build at all since haspin, I just recently took it out for a rip since haspin last Thursday POV video should be uploaded in the next days and I'll make sure to post it up here's a couple pictures This thing is a monster and I love it, I'm really excited to get my cam and really let the motor scream (not positive when that will happen) I'd still like to find a set of front 16s im not sure if I wanna run -vtreads -snow hog x patterns -xtrax the new style snow blower tire WHATS YOUR OPINION? What front tire would you choose? I want to rework my brake pedal, the heel brake works just fine, but when I'm wearing my boots the pedal always finds itself in the arch of the sole and doesn't fully brake Direct steering? It's working much better than anticipated I believe I'm gonna leave it be! I will be adding a pull start, factory pull start As for the exhaust I'm not sure if I'm gonna leave it under the hood or do a 2 into one side exit with a muffler it is super loud, it sounds amazing but it's loud haha, although I might want to keep it loud to try and counter the loud whining of the trans axle WHATS YOUR OPINION? Leave the exhaust alone? Put a muffler on it? Or reroute the exhaust to a side exit, with or without a muffler? Let me know what you think | |

| I would go for AGs in the front, they steer good, and match the look of the rear.
Let the exhaust like it is. It's good that everyone can hear you driving your Dynamark! And if anyone wants to steal it, you hear, that someone drives it away.

| I vote for snow hogs and dual exhaust with mild mufflers. I like how dual mufflers sound on harleys. I have X tracs on my john deere and yeah they perform great but they look kinda funny in my opinion.
Good to know the direct steering worked good for you. I might resort to that on Mud Rat.
How about welding on a piece of flat stock bent into the radius of your boot heel onto your brake pedal to make sure you heel stays right where you want it to when you're braking?

| I would think that front tires with those rubber spikes would work the best for steering, no clue on what you call them. Thinking that the rubber spikes would dig in better on soft ground for steering instead of long strips of rubber on the tread. Make your own muffler(s), Preference would be yours for single or duels but run the exhaust out the back so most of the sound is behind you and moving away from you. Muffler design, I would suggest a big chamber with packing on the walls inside so the gasses slow down and kill most of the noise if you got room. | |

| I vote snow hogs on the front, if not a small 4 wheeler tire, also if you go snow hogs they run very small, mine i had on my john deere barely measured 16 inchs tall and they were the 18x6.5x8s so id get those they will be same size as what your running now. Id keep the exhaust personally and maybe make a baffle that would slip in it as is to tame the noise when you feel like being a little quiter. the exhaust is one of those things that make this tractor cool to me, so different than everything else and well done that i wouldnt change it personally | |

| Thanks everyone for the input! I've been really kicking around the idea of attempting a very small chambered muffler with a cut out built into it and piecing it into my exhaust up under the hood so that way I can keep the quirky exhaust and be able to keep it quieter and load at the flip of a switch metaphorically speaking. Maybe I'll bench build one and if it turns out nice I can go ahead and put it on the machine! And it is funny that you mention that @Creepycrawler because I actually ordered those exact tires this morning, although I'm displeased to hear that they run small, I was kinda excited to have a little bit larger tire in the front to roll over rocks and stuff easier, worst comes to worst if I don't like them I will swap out for another tire As for now I've decided to go with the Carlisle snowhog 18x6.50-8 tire for on the front they were only 35$ a piece two day free shipping from wallyworld, I'll see how they look/perform and maybe I'll switch to a different tire if I don't like them | |

| @prancstaman lol I had no idea what you meant but that's what I'm going with for now Also OPINION what would everyone's opinion be on vinyl wrapping the body of the mower? Let me know what you think? i like the color the way it sits now but it's not my original plan, I was going to do purple zebra strips but ruined a whole roll of purple vinyl because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, Maybe a chameleon purple/blue wrap Chrome purple Galaxy What's your thought | |

| Love this thing man, you did an awesome job on building it, love the sound of the exhaust but was a little bit disappointed about the last video, got excited everytime you went up a good hill then "BAM" nothing, no air. So the run vid gets a 9/10, all in all Damn good job | |
