| Well after a very long last week with late nights, insane amounts of caffeine, bloody, burnt, smashed fingers, bruised body, complaining back pain, and strained eyes from continuing to flash my self with the lovely pos welder inam borrowing, I have finally made this build into something I love. Final video shall be filmed tomorrow and could get pretty crazy and might capture some unplanned events that I predict could happen such as killing myself in a wreck. Hard to believe how much I got done in this last week but sometimes procrastination fuels more creativity for me. | |

| I think it should qualify, it has a mower engine and trans, it's got tires people put on mowers. It has 3 points of contact, which the rules allow. I don't see how you could make something resemble a tractor with three wheels, so if this doesn't qualify, I'm not sure what they had in mind when they said you could have 3 wheels. It may not be a "stock" mower chassis, however, last year, the build "Tracta-Coola" was built completely from materials bought at a metal shop, and it qualified. This is made from multiple mower chassis. It does have the minimum of 3 points of contact, and the rules do say that sheet metal is optional. About it not looking like a tractor, @Doug entered an RER last year, however, didn't finish. This does resemble an RER, I've actually seen some 3 wheeled RERs before. | |

Nice try. When I entered it I was asking about doing inline wheels and was told that would not qualify. but was also told that a trike would be permitted by doug as long as it had three points of contact without being in the inline setup. as for looking like a mower? that frame is a snapper frame and is the main frame that provides the main support while the top metal and bottom metal support the axle and front end . I beefed them up so I didn't have any catastrophic failures on the front which would result in a very high danger of personal injury in the case it did fail from not having enough support, in no means is it a space frame as it still has the pan frame from the snapper as the main structure that contains the drive train( which is oddly also mower parts for some reason).

| @biggasmowers well then awesome! To be completely honest I haven't followed along with this build, I just saw crazy carl post your video on Facebook and had my concerns, I just know that their was plans for the rules to be modified last year to be more oriented for the end result looking like a mower, (yes the tractacooler was entered last year but if the rules did get shifted to more mower resembled when complete it would not qualify this year) I was just concerned that it may not be allowed be cause it does actually look like a trike and you did a good job at that but with it being a rear engine rider it still has the mower look at the rear so I was genuinely curious as to what the ruling would be, but sounds like you've had it cleared with Doug already so my fault I apologize for the scare, on the other hand, best of luck! It's a really cool build and You did a great job | |

| Awesome build and really cool final product. Love the little ratty touches on it, and it looks like a blast to drive. The reason you might have been having a hard time wheelie there was because you're trying to pull up on the front end but your pushing off the front end with your feet. You won't go anywhere because of Newton's Third Law - equal and opposite reaction forces If you want to wheelie, you'll need pegs mounted on the Snapper frame. Love it though | |

And if you have pegs on the snapper frame, you really should put a chain guard on it.

- that thing is totally awesome, im sure there is more stuff you want to do to it, but good to see you finished it up.... I kind of was imagining it doing wheelies constantly haha.
that's what I was thinking too, some how it's pretty balanced

| I think the operator position is a tad forward from where it normally would be on a trike, but then you have that opposed on the back. I agree with @Dave.MTD how the front mounted foot pegs are killing your wheelie game but then if this was easy to pull wheelies with and you flip it, the pull start pulley could bite into you, ouch. I'd proceed with caution regarding wheelies. | |

- Turned out awesome. Cool hand controls.
thanks, I originally had a lever clutch on the frame but that proved too hard to shift and keep going in a safe direction, and the hand controls really made it easier to drive.
