New wheelbase looks real good!

I like the new wheelbase. As for the running boards, well if you can't at least stand on them then they could use some help.

Looks way better and will Probably perform better.

I put too much bend in my steering rod.  So not much left steer.  Waiting for the metal to cool to reinstall.

Steering is working WAY better than it was with the new wheelbase. I don't need a football field to turn around now. I can do it on a city street width now. I'll try to get a flex pic this weekend. I have been contemplating exhaust.

Interesting observation. My right side exhaust is a little "quieter" than the left. Both get hot.

Can you get your hands on one of those infrared thermometers?

You have a tighter turning radius now?  I wonder what you tweaked in your steering geometry to achieve that?

I think my drag link has better geometry.

Did a basic flex.  About 9 inch rise.  I can push 11 if I sit on it.  I do not have a place readily for the drop and the rise to be more dramatic.



Tractor was level till I got off it.


Started exhaust tonight. I should have it complete this weekend. I did some prelim testing and it sounds like a Harley Davidson Roadster. LOL

I realized today I need to loosen my hood and adjust it. It is angled too far back. LOL

Looks good. Ca'nt wait to see it romping! It needs a sick cool exhaust that sounds like hell!

I have decided 1" straight pipes out the rear. Sounds sweet!

So yeah.... I figured this out. You'll never guess what it was. Something I should have checked and taken care of LONG ago. I'll let you ponder this then I will tell you later. I noticed the issue this morning when I made the video.

Spark plug not functioning properly? Or combustion chamber/exhaust port gummed up with carbon?

Plenty of spark but it was a firing issue.  LOL (not the coil)

What was it? I would have thought a bad spark plug

Hey that's pretty good flex for a workin' tractor.  Great job on that exhaust and thanks for teaching us the important of double checking fasteners.

Lol. Was doing some stresses today. Speed and hit the off road fast too.

Top speed is 18mph right now. Maybe some tuning and may see 20mph not worried about going faster. While forcing the front to flex I ended up busting the u joint off my steering gear.   Nothing a re-weld won't fix.   I may try to shorten the steering too.

Also I was surprised how much that old frame flexes.
