Minor update.  Dash and supports painted!





So, what I have figured, 2 position pull style light switch for lights and fogs, larger center hole will be for fuel shutoff, choke and start switch.

Nice paint Mighty! I'm very interesting to see how those Carlisles on the rear perform. They seem to have decent tread.

I'm interested as well.  Installed the dash panel this evening.



Snoop was my helper this evening!  He is feeling good!  Hope to get stitches out tomorrow.  He is still going to have a gnarly spot on his leg due to blowing stiches 2x.



I'm deigning up a dash sticker for each gauge and such.

Glad the dog is doing better.

I like the idea of the two postion pull switch for the lights.  So you would pull it out to the first detent for fog lights, then pull it out all the way for headlights and foglights?

I am thinking the opposite.  First is headlights, second is headlights and fogs.  That way I can run without fogs if I wanted.  If I had fogs on, I would want the headlights on too.

Oooh, that gives me an idea. Could get a 2 position switch on mutt, first detent could be headlights, and second could be headlights and backlights. I'll have to look into getting one of those...

Those switches have basically 3 prongs outgoing. 1 for first indent, 2 second indent, other side is a bridged circuit typically for rear lights that both positions is on.

Your Kal-El Murray GT looks very good. Great for Offroad use.

I remember my dad used a two position switch when he put the square fenders with lights on his JD 720. First position does the inner lights, second position the outer ones. Has a fuse holder on it too, I think we replaced the original 5 or 10 amp fuse(after blowing it out on the first try lol) with a like 20 amp one.

Well... my silver has gone bad and doesn't really fit with the theme.  I have a plan B.

Didn't get any pictures today. It was a crazy day, not a good one for the most part.

On the tractor side, I got the choke and dash throttle hooked up. Started working on some electrical. Didn't get anything cleaned and painted today. Maybe later this week. Also got some fuel line installed from dash to engine. Just not from tank to dash.

Most of the wiring is complete.  Just need to mount a battery and battery cables. Oh and I need a meter... I may end up with another ammeter.

Ooh! That dash looks good Mighty. Gonna put a fancy pants shifter knob on this rig?

That would be cool! We'll see when I get further along.

That's a very clean looking dash. Doesn't look hacked up at all.

I got the fenders drilled off and the rear clip taken apart. That is all I got done today.

if you could get some pictures of the 2300 mounting setup i would be really appreciative! trying to stuff mine in a mower not designed for it is going to be interesting .

Haha, kinda like when I put the 600 in the MTD. Although you have to deal with a horizontal shaft input on yours, so you're probably worse off than I was, haha.

Mine had all brackets that mounted to the transaxle.



Then that mounted to the bottom of the frame. You see those with the 8 shiny nuts behind the shifter.
