Murray CCT [pre-build]

Where do you get parts for the older 2300's ? I had a very old 2300a from the 1960's or some similar model and could not find any parts for it . it was solid cast iron case but had been sitting for about 14 years and was half full of water so the bearings were all rusted out and diff was stuck along with 3 gears that were missing teeth . Ended up trashing it cause couldn't get parts or the left axle out of case to take dif out

I found a second set of spider gears on Ebay for $10. Those are the ones I modified for the lock. Everything else I took out, cleaned and buffed as best as I could with a wire wheel.

OK old Murray.  Time for me to walk away and visit you again in a few months.

bought a set of Carlisle Badlands for the rear.  I'm thinking some snow hogs would look good with them on the front.

Yeah i thought so . are they aggressive treads for mud or mild for off road?

This is what they should look like.

Those look nice. Decent tread but not too crazy.

Pretty nice tires, very aggressive tread with the wide open pattern. Should be great for going through mud and deep snow.

Well, snow should be fine , mud though ? theres not much tread depth so they could turn into mud balls but even deep treads do that if theres not much wheel speed .

Not much mud here in the past year. :/ Maybe some good trail riding sometime this year? Hope to have some kind of off-road.

Well, I finally got my tracking number for the tires.  They appear to be already in town and to be delivered tomorrow!

Got the tires!  These things are pretty beefy!

Quick glance they look to be directional so I will need to be cautious not to put one on backwards. LOL.

Nice looking tires there mighty! The tread looks to be spaced out pretty nice, and a great deal for $38 each in my opinion.

I thought so. Now that I have a tire changing apparatus, I can start popping off and doing some tire swapping! First I want to grab a pallet from my father in law.
