I was given a Murray wide body with 17hp Briggs Model 31 OHV engine for free a while back. I am starting to build something a little lighter and faster than the Sears.
It came with the vari-drive unit but also a MST 202 (2-speed) transaxle.
Not much in a 2 speed axle. I purchased a 5th gear set and am going to make it a 3speed unit.
I have a 6sp if this doesn't work.
I won an old propane powered floor scrubber at an auction a while back that had a 20hp Onan on it I cannibalized for parts on my Case 446. But it had a really nice double pulley centrifugal clutch on it I plan on using on this build.
I plan on eliminating a clutch pedal and just having gas and brakes.
I pulled the fan cover off and found this.
I can't believe how squirrels could have even gotten in there.
I'm naming this one KopyKat as there are quite a few of this style out there and Bowser was the inspiration.
Wife want me to use Kansas City colors.
